Construction
Planning, communicating, negotiating, sharing, estimating, hypothesising; constructive play develops all of these key skills, as well as being great for hand-eye co-ordination and motor skills. Giant bricks, wooden bricks, marble runs, gears, stickle bricks, duplo – they will all do the job, and there will be something here to fire most imaginations and areas of interest, creating those firm foundations for future learning!
